Preventative Maintenance
Know Exactly When Vehicles Need Service
Eliminate manual mileage data collection Access to accurate mileage information is the key to a good preventive maintenance program. Networkfleet provides daily odometer updates and notifies you when vehicles have reached predetermined maintenance intervals. Networkfleet allows you to set up custom maintenance alert schedules. Regular maintenance will extend vehicle life and will increase the resale value of your vehicles. In addition, mileage information can be exported into your existing fleet management system using our web services API or can be reported to GSA if you lease your vehicles. This helps you eliminate time consuming manual mileage data collection processes.
Maintenance Alerts – Receive E-mail Reminders of Scheduled Maintenance
Do you know when your fleet vehicles need maintenance? We alert you by e-mail when your vehicle is due for normal maintenance, saving time and reducing headaches. Or, check your Networkfleet website for historical performance information.
Our maintenance alerts are based on a vehicle's real-time mileage versus national averages and this allows you to operate a more effective preventive maintenance program. Each day you will receive an e-mail summarizing which vehicles reported problems or are due for normal maintenance.
Service Records – Review Service History Online
Networkfleet can help you receive a higher resale value for your fleet vehicles by providing a complete online service history. If you have your vehicles serviced at a Networkfleet affiliated dealership, service records for your fleet vehicles will flow to your Networkfleet website. If you have your vehicles serviced elsewhere, you may enter service records yourself through your Networkfleet website.
Recalls – Get Immediate Notification of Safety Recalls
Wondering if your vehicle has a safety recall? If a vehicle manufacturer is found by the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to be responsible for a serious defect, an auto recall is issued. An auto recall requires the manufacturer to send an official notice to owners of the vehicles found to be defective. More often than not, only a portion of the production run of a certain make, model, and year vehicle is affected by an auto recall.
Online recall notices from Networkfleet give you important safety information much faster than snail mail notices from the manufacturer. This allows you to make repairs immediately, increase safety and beat the rush at your service provider.
