Italian Gourmet Thin Crust Pizza
Client: Italian Gourmet Pizza Restaurant

Pizza's Operation
We were initially contacted with a need for a one terminal at one of their locations to support their growing franchise. They provided two types of service, with packaged “Take & Bake” pizza's and other packaged food; and phone order and take out service for all of their pizza's and other foods such as hummus and other dips.

Needs and Functional Review
They were unable to support their customer management, their order taking processing was difficult, and analysis of sales was impossible. Also, they couldn't track and easily record a number of items for reporting purposes.
They also needed credit card integration in order to simplify and speed up the order taking process.

Solution
After consultation, and discussion of Café Cartel's features, we determined a feature needed to be included that was not available. Because of our pricing structure was able to get additional modules and development for not cost. We added a loyalty program that would track sales of certain items, and then provide responses to the cashier when a certain number of sales were met. Similar to how a 2 for 1 coupon works.

Multi-store Location
After about 8 months in operation expanded to 2 more of their locations and we again implemented a new feature: a portable menu database that would allow them to keep different locations consistent for item sales, coupons and promotional programs.
